Musical toys have been part of the Fehn range for many years and accompany babies from birth during quiet moments and at bedtime. From handy companions for use on the go to larger musical toys for the home, Fehn offers different sizes, lovingly designed characters and different types of chime.
Mini Musicals are particularly handy and are suitable for use at home and on the go. One example is the Mini Musical Otter Theo.
Larger models such as the Musical Star combine a soft fabric character with a standard chime inside.
Depending on the model, a mini chime, a standard chime or an integrated, washable chime is used. The different types mainly differ in their playing time.
Every Fehn musical toy comes with a specific melody. Popular melodies include Brahms’ Lullaby, Mozart’s Lullaby, Schubert’s Lullaby, “Schlaf, Kindlein, schlaf”, “Guter Mond”, “Weißt du, wie viel Sternlein stehen” and others.
For musical toys with a removable chime, the chime can be replaced with a compatible replacement chime featuring a different melody. Mini chimes and standard chimes differ in size and cannot be freely interchanged.
You can find suitable spare parts and replacement chimes separately in the online shop. For models with an integrated, washable chime, the chime is not designed to be replaced. This version comes with Brahms’ Lullaby.
The playing time depends on the type of chime. Mini chimes, standard chimes and integrated, washable chimes have different playing times. You can find the exact details on the relevant product page.
For models with a removable chime, the chime must be removed before washing. Musical toys with an integrated, washable chime can be cleaned with the chime inside in accordance with the product-specific care instructions. Always follow the care instructions for the individual product.
A musical toy is a thoughtful gift that can accompany a baby from the very beginning. Whether to celebrate a new arrival, for a christening or as a baby shower surprise, its lovingly designed character and familiar melody combine something soft to cuddle with a reassuring sound.
Fehn also offers a wide selection of comforters. You can find further information about our products, care and ordering in our FAQs.
