Care, use and spare parts

How a Fehn product should be cleaned depends on the individual item and the materials used. Many Fehn cuddly toys and comforters are machine washable at 30°C, while other products should be cleaned by hand. Care requirements may vary depending on the product and material. The care instructions on the product label therefore always take precedence.

For Fehn musical toys with a removable music box mechanism, the mechanism must be removed before washing. The soft toy can then be cleaned in accordance with the care instructions on the product label. For musical toys with an integrated washable mechanism, please follow the product-specific care instructions.

Fehn musical toys with a removable chime mechanism have a safety zip. It can be opened with the help of a paper clip so that the mechanism can be removed. After reinserting the mechanism, the safety zip must be closed completely.

Each Fehn musical toy and musical mobile is supplied with a specific melody, which cannot be freely selected when purchasing the product. However, models with a removable music box mechanism allow it to be replaced with a separately available spare mechanism. Fehn currently offers twelve different melodies for each mechanism size as replacement mechanisms. Musical toys with an integrated washable mechanism are excluded: the mechanism cannot be replaced and is available exclusively with Brahms’ Lullaby. Discover replacement musical chimes from Fehn.

If the chime mechanism in a Fehn musical toy stops working, our customer service team will be happy to help. Depending on the item, Fehn products are made from different materials and fabric qualities selected to suit the individual product. These may include soft fabrics such as plush, velour, twill, muslin, jersey or corduroy, as well as other textile materials and combinations. Different fibres and filling materials are used depending on the product.
