Spare parts for Fehn musical toys, mobiles and baby toys

A familiar toy accompanies many little moments in a baby’s day. If a musical mechanism needs replacing, a mobile needs a new holder or an attachment ring is missing, you will find spare parts for Fehn musical toys, musical mobiles and baby toys here. The range includes different musical mechanisms, mobile holders and a set of attachment rings. The type of toy, dimensions and intended attachment method are important when choosing a replacement.

Mini and standard musical mechanisms for musical toys

Mini and standard musical mechanisms differ in size: a mini mechanism measures 4.7 × 3.7 × 2.2 cm, while a standard mechanism measures 5.4 × 4.8 × 3.2 cm. Both are wound up using a pull cord and play their melody without batteries. The mini musical mechanism with Brahms’ Lullaby plays for approximately one to two minutes, while the standard musical mechanism with Brahms’ Lullaby plays for approximately two to three minutes. Mini and standard mechanisms are not freely interchangeable. They are intended for the corresponding Fehn musical toys with removable mechanisms.

Mini and standard musical mechanisms each come in a choice of twelve melodies, including “Schlaf, Kindlein, schlaf”, “Weißt du, wie viel Sternlein stehen” and Mozart’s Lullaby. The standard musical mechanism with “Weißt du, wie viel Sternlein stehen”, for example, offers a way to give a familiar soft toy a different melody. Audio samples allow the melody to be heard before choosing. The mechanical mechanisms play a section of the melody that repeats.

Musical mechanisms and holders for musical mobiles

A mobile musical mechanism turns the figures of a Fehn musical mobile while the melody plays. It is mechanically wound up, plays for approximately three to four minutes and has an on/off switch. The holder is available separately: the white mobile holder attaches to a cot using a screw clamp. It is designed for gaps between cot bars of 2.5 to 9 cm and bar thicknesses of up to 3 cm. The folding travel mobile holder with a clamp is intended for Fehn travel musical mobiles on a travel cot. Both holders are supplied without a musical mechanism or figures. This allows the required holder to be replaced separately while the existing mechanism and figures can continue to be used.

Attachment rings and care of spare parts

The set of ten attachment rings contains different-coloured C-rings measuring 6 cm in diameter. They can be used to attach suitable toys to a pushchair, infant car seat or play arch, for example. The rings can be used individually or linked together. Attachment rings, holders and the usual musical mechanisms can be cleaned with a damp cloth. A removable musical mechanism must be taken out before washing the musical toy. One exception is the separately available washable musical mechanism with Brahms’ Lullaby, which can be machine washed at 30 °C. Its compatibility with the existing toy should be checked before replacement.

Replacement and support from the Fehn service team

In a musical toy with a removable mechanism, the mechanism is accessed through the safety zip. Instructions for opening and fully closing it are available in the FAQs. Musical mechanisms sewn permanently into a toy cannot be replaced at home – this also applies to integrated washable mechanisms.
