Thanks to the gentle soothing melody, the musical chime reliably helps the baby to fall asleep. – "Guter Mond" is originally a German folk song. With a revised text by Karl Enslin in 1851 and set to music by Engelbert Humperdinck in 1909, this lullaby can still often be found in children's books.
