Thanks to the gentle soothing melody, the musical chime reliably helps the baby to fall asleep. – "Guten Abend, gut´ Nacht" has been a popular poem in German-speaking countries since the beginning of the 19th century. Under the title "Lullaby" it was set to music by Johannes Brahms in 1868 and thus became one of the most famous lullabies.
